Joseph F. Scarbrough III
Joseph F. Scarbrough began his racing career in 1979 in the Go-Kart an d Micro Stock series. With guidance from his father, who raced in the NASCAR Late Model divisions from the late 1970’s to the early 1990’s, Joe worked his way through the kart, street stock, sportsman, modified and late model divisions in non-NASCAR sanctioned events. With his many years of experience and success, Joe has developed into a mature and charismatic driver and individual. His presence on the track will surely not go unnoticed.
In 2001, after the terrorist attack on the United States, Joe felt that it was necessary to become a part of something greater than himself. He chose to put his race career on hold to pursue opportunities with the United States Coast Guard. His sense of Honor, Duty and Commitment, brought about from a life in a racecar, has only been strengthened by his experiences in the USCG. He is currently recruiting in the Richmond area, which will keep him stateside for the next two years. This allows Joe to put more energy into forging a new alliance with the motorsports industry and it’s committed partners and fans.
With over 200 heat and features wins in his career, Joe is capable of providing racing enthusiasts with action packed competition. Joe will see to it that every racing enthusiast in the area will know who the ‘team” is, and ensure the positive representation of a professional and successful crew. With his innate talent for the art of racecar driving he guarantees this season will be a thrilling adventure and invites everyone to join along in his journey!
